How it all began
Cats have always been our passion!
In October 2019 we met at Creta Maris Beach Resort, an amazing beach resort with huge heart for stray cats. The foundation idea started very basic, with a group chat on Facebook. It’s still a lot of work in progress, but we have some amazing supporters and a strong will to make a difference!
With our foundation we want to raise awareness for the stray cats on Crete. Our main goal is to support rescuers and small private shelters to feed, care for and neuter stray cats (and dogs).
We also help interested people adopting a cat or a kitten. Both of us have already adopted cats from Crete. Metaxa for example was a Resort Cat and successfully adopted by co-founder Susan in September 2018. He is now living his wonderful life in the UK.
