Hope and help for Crete’s stray cats
The Cats of Crete Foundation is dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of stray cats on Crete. Every day, countless cats struggle to survive—without enough food, medical care, or a safe place to stay. Our mission is to give these animals a better future.
What We Do:
🐾 Spay & Neuter Programs – TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) is the most humane and effective way to control the stray cat population and improve their quality of life.
🐾 Medical care – We provide essential treatment for sick, injured, and weak animals.
🐾 Rescue & adoption support for tourists – We help travelers adopt cats they’ve fallen in love with during their holidays and arrange safe transport to their new homes.
🐾 Education & awareness – We raise awareness about animal welfare and responsible pet ownership within local communities.
Our work is only possible thanks to the support of compassionate animal lovers. Whether through donations, sponsorships, or volunteer efforts—every contribution saves lives.
